ErbB-2 structure. Regions that are relevant to ErbB-2 function are indicated schematically. The extracellular portion is composed by 4 domains (I–IV). ErbB-2 contains a transmembrane domain (TMD) and a juxtamembrane domain (YMD), which encloses the nuclear localization sequence (NLS, purple).
