Bioscientifica journal products include subscriptions to individual journals (Journal of Endocrinology, Journal of Molecular Endocrinology and Endocrine-Related Cancer), package deals and purchase options for journal Archives.

Archive

The Society for Endocrinology Archive is available as part of a package and as an outright purchase for a one-off fee, with no maintenance charges going forward.

Consortium and multi-site licences

All Bioscientifica journals are included in the Independent Scholarly Publishers Group (ISPG). If you are interested in talking to us about a possible consortium subscription or multi-site licence agreement, please contact our sales department.

Reduced Open Access fees for authors at subscribing institutions

Corresponding authors submitting to the following Bioscientifica journals are entitled to a 50% discount on Open Access fees if their institution holds a current subscription to that journal.

Activating and managing online access

New subscribers need to activate your HighWire e-access account. Renewing subscribers can update their subscription details via our Subscriber Help and Services page or via the HighWire librarian portal.

Institutional branding

Bioscientifica now offers institutions the option to upload their logo/brand and name, thereby showcasing the journal content they pay for on behalf of users. The branding appears in the top right corner of content pages (abstract and full text) when users access content the institute subscribes to.

Administrators should log in to their account and upload a suitable file to the HighWire system (size restrictions apply), either through the journal website or the HighWire librarians portal.

OpenURL

This is available for all Bioscientifica journals and can be managed from the HighWire librarians portal.

KBART metadata

Bioscientifica endorses KBART (NISO KBART website/UKSG Information Hub) and is a registered participant. For link-resolver suppliers, all details pertaining to our titles are available for download as TXT or XLS files that conform to the KBART Phase I Recommended Practice.

Web discovery

Bioscientifica's journals are indexed in Summon, Primo and EBSCO Discovery.

Digital preservation

Bioscientifica and the Society for Endocrinology are committed to the long term preservation of the digital scholarly record and participate in LOCKSS and Portico. Articles for which authors selected the Open Access Option are also preserved in PubMed Central (and mirrors).

Usage stats

Both COUNTER and Summary Usage Reports are available via our Subscriber Help and Services page or the HighWire librarian portal.

Claims
