About the Cover

The cover image depicts human corticosteroid-binding globulin (CBG) in its relaxed conformation (PDB ID 4BB2), with its cleaved reactive centre loop (RCL) inserted as a β-sheet coloured red. The predicted positions and structures of five of its six N-glycans are shown based on their reported most frequent compositions in human CBG. The structures show β-sheets (blue), α-helixes (green), loops (cyan), and N-glycans in grey except those at N238 and at N347, which are coloured purple and orange, respectively. The complete figure occurs in an article by Simard et al. titled ‘Functional implications of corticosteroid-binding globulin N-glycosylation’ published in this journal and accessible from https://doi.org/10.1530/JME-17-0234.
